“One of the best we have been We spent approximately 6 weeks in this delightful apartment, thoroughly modern ( recently renovated kitchen and bathroom) and well equipped. We found the apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. The high ceilings make this apartment much bigger. Communication with owner and agent was effective and quick. The location is absolutely great, steps from the famous central market, the pedestrian street, restaurants, sights and public transportation. The air conditioning during the heat wave was great and extremely quiet. We visit Budapest very often and we plan to stay again in this apartment: it is the best we have been. .

“A Home Away from Home in the Best Setting Initial instructions by the owners to get the regulated taxis from the airport meant a quick and easy journey, as was the process of picking up our keys at the apartment. We were impressed by the attractive and authentic building, especially in the bright sunshine. It's evident that the neighbours take pride in where they live. The apartments interior was clean, bright and makes really good use of the space, very comfortable bed and sofa, excellent tv and plenty of storage. We particularly appreciated the range of glasses in the cupboard to try our newly bought Hungarian wine and Palinka! All of this made for a really pleasant and relaxing place to return to after a long day exploring. The location was excellent! Right beside Liberation Bridge making it easy to get back to but walking distance (if you're happy to walk)to all districts. Very convenient to transport links. A particular draw is the massive (and beautiful) market, full of fresh produce and lovely crafts...and an Aldi in the basement! Overall, there isn't one thing we would have change apart from having more time to investigate stunning Budapest. “We’d stayed in Budapest before, in what I thought was a more central location – but this was perfect, being so close to the river and the baths at Hotel Gellert and Rudas. The nearby 19th-century food market (the city’s largest) was a godsend for stocking up over the Xmas break, and a very useful radial tram route runs just outside. It was also good – as always – to stay in a traditional toasty warm central-European apartment with snow blanketing the streets outside!”
